Deleting a Global Web Exclusion removes the inspection bypass for a previously excluded domain and re-enables Secure Web inspection for that traffic.
This is typically required when:
An application no longer uses certificate pinning
A vendor updates its encryption behavior
An exclusion was added temporarily for troubleshooting
A domain is no longer trusted or required
Once removed, Secure Web Gateway (SWG) inspection and policies apply immediately.
You should remove a Global Web Exclusion If:
The application functions correctly with SSL inspection enabled
Vendor documentation no longer recommends bypassing inspection
The domain is no longer used by the organization
You want visibility, logging, or policy enforcement restored
Security Note: Removing an exclusion improves visibility and policy enforcement by restoring Secure Web inspection.
1. In the Admin Dashboard, go to Secure Web and click on + Global Web Exclusions button.
2. Locate the domain you want to remove and click the Delete icon next to it.
3. Click on Save to confirm and apply the deletion across the organization.
Deleting a Global Web Exclusion restores Secure Web inspection and policy enforcement for previously excluded domains. This helps organizations maintain visibility, enforce Zero Trust controls, and reduce unnecessary inspection bypasses as application requirements evolve.
