Prerequisites

Before deploying Zaperon in your organization, ensure that all endpoint devices, operating systems, and network environments meet the required prerequisites. Proper preparation ensures a smooth installation process and reliable operation of Zaperon Zero Trust services.

Zaperon supports Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS devices, enabling organizations to secure users across desktops and mobile endpoints. Meeting the minimum hardware and software requirements ensures optimal performance and stable connectivity to the Zaperon cloud.

This guide provides the system requirements, supported operating systems, antivirus exclusions, firewall configurations, and network prerequisites required to successfully deploy the Zaperon client.

Ensuring these prerequisites are met helps prevent installation failures, connectivity issues, and endpoint communication problems after deployment.

Zaperon supports desktops and mobile devices from all major vendors. Below are the minimum system requirements needed for reliable Zaperon client deployment.

Minimum Hardware Requirement for Windows/Mac/Linux:

• Disk Storage: At least 10 GB available

• Memory: At least 4GB RAM

• Processor: Dual core

Before installing Zaperon, we need to add the below File and Web exclusions to your Antivirus and Firewall.

DPI-SSL Client Settings (if enabled) in Firewall:

Add zaperon.com to the exclusions list

For best performance and stable Zero Trust connectivity:

• Ensure endpoints have stable internet connectivity

• Avoid SSL inspection for Zaperon domains

• Allow outbound HTTPS traffic

• Ensure DNS resolution is working properly

• Avoid proxy authentication conflicts during installation

Proper network readiness ensures reliable Zero Trust access, web security enforcement, and policy synchronization.
