This error appears on the Branding page in the Zaperon Admin Dashboard when an admin attempts to upload or save branding assets such as the logo or favicon, and the action fails with a validation or upload error.
You may see inline error messages below the upload button, or notice that the Save button remains disabled.
Branding logo & favicon file size error
Branding logo & favicon dimension error
Branding configuration errors usually occur due to one or more of the following reasons:
Logo:
If the uploaded logo file size exceeds 1 MB.
If the logo image dimensions are not exactly 1000 × 500 pixels.
If the uploaded file format is not supported (only PNG with transparent background is allowed).
Favicon:
If the favicon file size exceeds 100 KB.
If the favicon dimensions are not exactly 512 × 512 pixels (1:1 aspect ratio).
If the favicon file format is not ICO.
File upload can also be interrupted due to a network or browser issue. or changes were made, but the Save button was not clicked.
1. Verify logo file requirements.
Before uploading the logo, ensure the file meets all required specifications:
File format: PNG (transparent background).
Maximum file size: 1 MB.
Image dimensions: 1000 × 500 pixels.
If the logo does not meet these requirements, resize or optimize the image and try uploading again.
2. Verify favicon file requirements.
Ensure the favicon file meets the following criteria:
File format: ICO
Maximum file size: 100 KB
Image dimensions: 512 × 512 pixels
If the favicon does not meet these specifications, regenerate the favicon using a supported image tool and retry the upload.
3. Re-upload the branding assets.
Go to Admin Dashboard → Branding. Refer this page Branding and Customization for more detail steps.
Click Upload Logo or Upload Favicon.
Select the corrected file.
Wait for the preview to load successfully.
Ensure no error message appears below the upload section.
4. Save the branding changes
After uploading the logo or favicon:
Click Save at the top-right corner of the Branding page
Wait for the save operation to complete
Branding changes will not be applied unless the Save button is clicked.
5. Check browser or network issues
If the error persists:
Refresh the page and retry the upload
Try using a different browser (Chrome is recommended)
Ensure a stable internet connection during the upload process
